Team building, made deliberate

Build the team you actually mean to build.

You know the team you want. TeamFitting measures the one you have, shows you the distance between them, and reads every signing for fit and friction before you commit. We do not predict winners. We help you build with intent.

The problem

A third of big signings never take.

We looked at 155 of the largest Premier League transfers from 2016 to 2023, fees from 22 to 117 million euros. Two years on, about one in three had not worked out. The player lost his place, never settled, or was moved on.

The talent is rarely the problem. The problem is that these decisions get made without a clear, shared read of who the player actually is and whether he matches the team you are trying to build. Gut, reputation, and highlight reels fill the gap. A decision this expensive deserves a real instrument.

The stance

Nobody can tell you what a winning team looks like.

Winning teams come in every shape. Tight and warm, cold and ruthless, young and chaotic, old and certain. Anyone who promises you the formula for a winner is selling you a story. We are not.

What we can do is simpler and more useful. We can tell you, precisely and consistently, what your team is. We can tell you what the team you want would look like. And we can show you, signing by signing, whether you are moving toward it or away from it.

How it works

Measure. Declare. Close the gap.

01
Measure your team
We read your team across ten dimensions of identity, from how it presses to how it handles pressure to how clearly everyone knows their job. The read is consistent: two independent assessments of the same team land in the same place. This is your starting point, in black and white.
02
Declare your target
You tell us the team you want to build. Describe it in your own words, or point to a team from the past that captures it. We turn that into a clear target across the same ten dimensions, and we confirm it back to you until it is right.
03
See the gap
We put your team and your target side by side and show you the distance, dimension by dimension. The three biggest gaps are where your work is. For each one, we show you how other teams have made that shift, what it took, and where it strained. Real cases, both the ones that went well and the ones that did not.
04
Sign with your eyes open
Considering a player? We read him across nine dimensions, as consistently as we read your team. Then we show two numbers: how he fits the room you have today, and how he fits the room you are building. We spell out where the friction points sit, in plain terms. You make the call. You always make the call.
Who decides

You own the vision. We own the instrument.

A good coach already knows the team they are trying to build. TeamFitting does not replace that judgment, it serves it. We are the gauge on the dashboard, not the hand on the wheel. The destination is yours. We just make sure you can see where you are and whether you are getting closer.

Accountability

We keep score on ourselves.

We do not ask you to take the instrument on faith. Two independent reads of the same team land in the same place, and we will show you the proof. Every window, we put your team back on the same ten dimensions, so you can see in black and white whether it moved toward the team you set out to build. If it did not, the number will say so.

The work behind it

This is not a hunch.

Before we put a single number in front of a coach, we stress-tested the whole idea. We measured teams across six sports and 47 years of competition, men’s and women’s, and ran every study on public data anyone can re-check. We wrote the rules down before we looked at the results, and when the data disagreed with us, we published that too. What you are using is the part that held up.

Stop building by feel.

The best builders build on purpose. We give you the instrument to do exactly that.
